Join us to discover the essential principles of Children's Liturgy, in a 3-hour workshop, and to access resources.
The purpose of Liturgy of the Word with Children is to enable their fullest possible participation in the Liturgy of the Word so that they grow their faith in and their love and understanding of God. It is worship and it is part of the Mass.
Following the structure of the Liturgy of the Word at Mass, the trained leader enables the children to understand the Gospel and “breaks it open”. An activity may enable the children to further reflect, understand, pray and remember.
