Training Day for Catechists, Wandsworth

A day of formation for catechists involved in parish sacramental preparation. Morning workshops will be for the whole group, and afternoon workshops will be split by ministry: First Holy Communion or Confirmation preparation. Please bring your own packed lunch.

TIMETABLE FOR DAY

10am - Mass

10.45am - Opening Prayer and introductions

11am-12pm - the vocation of the catechist in the Church

12pm - Midday Prayer and lunch

1pm - 2.30pm - Confirmation Catechists workshop and FHC Catechists workshops, running concurrently

2.30pm-2.45pm - break

2.45pm-3.45pm - Including the whole family in sacramental preparation; two workshops running concurrently

3.45pm-4.15pm - Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
